You know i heard a story that it was supposed to be synchronized....waz it???

The myth goes something like this. If you start the movie and the album at the same time, at some point during the story Dorothy opens a door or curtain and the movie is in color and at that exact moment, "Money" starts playing. Pink Floyd does not make any claims to this silly urban tale. It is just a tale and a slight coincidence. If you watch tv and listen to lets say The Allman Brothers, you may see similar occurences, its just coincidence. Fun Question though.

It actually seems to work!
Except the album is too short. So we started playing it again right away and AGAIN things on screen seem to line up with what is being talked about in the songs.
That being said, I still think it is just a coincidence.

i heard of it as the dark side of the rainbow. Always wanted to try it, but never had both at the same time lol.

No, but I know that something weird happens, i've heard about that... doesn't the movie somehow connect with the album if you play them at the same time or something? That's very creepy, so I'll probably never even try it.

it works but certain songs have to match certain scenes. It is called "dark side of oz"

I saw part of it on I-am-bored.com. It was great really ... the song really is coordinated with the movie as if they were made for each other. Its pretty unbelieveable.
