Ebay is still growing- but unfortunately there aren't as many great deals (and more bad deals), so some people aren't using it as much.
Nowadays there are more people online, and more people bidding on stuff just so they can resell it. But the feedback system still works to weed out shady characters.

I think a lot of people that have used it since it first started up have backed off a bit simply because theres soo many people on there. And there are not any really good deals anymore because of that and because people do the research on items now. Not to mention people have really started to get money out of you on shipping prices.

Also Ebay is really good at washing their hands of their problems with non payers and bad sellers.
