Only in my fantasy, my own world, I don't need "guards".
In reality, those "guards" need to work 24 hour a day.

Any affection from a male. I'm not used to it so it gets my guard down. But that's also why I try to stay clear of them. I'm not lesbian or anything, I just don't want to put my "wall against the world" down. And even if I was in contact with one other than my brother, I'd keep it up. I don't know If I'll ever be able to put and KEEP it down.

There is not a whole lot that lets me do this. Trust is a main issue for me but to trust someone you have to 'really' know them and that takes time. I tend to let my guard down only when I feel it is in need of letting down and opening up.

When I'm among friends that I trust or loved ones it's easy to let down my guard. I'm in my comfort zone.
