I tell myself, "God is giving me the gift of this supposed unfairness so I can go deeper into the grit and dirt of human existence and be able to minister my redemptive experiences to other people who have undergone, and are undergoing, similar unfairness."

In reality, there is no sentient, omnipresent, omnipotent supernatural being, supernatural entity or force....therefore all the inequities and misery of the world will always persist, some will have good things happen to them and some not, some will blame the invisible entity but objective reality wins all the time....no matter how hard some try to get that limbic brain of theirs to work...sorry
And why does bad things happen to good people all the time? When the tectonic plates crash into each other causing human calamity, they don't worry about Karma, good and bad, evil and riteousness. Life's paths are made up of randon circumstances, some predictable and some not. Most religious people will state that god has a 'bigger' plan for them and humans in general, that we can't know the 'big picture.' Most say there can't be good unless we know or experience the depths of evil.
Is it fair to have predation, disease, deformities, child rape, parasites and evil in the world? If the answer is yes, then with god(s) like that, who need them?

Life is unfair, but fortunately for the vast majority of the time it is unfair in my favor. To be living in America in this time of unprecedented standards of living, health care, and convience. I wake up almost every day feeling I've won the genetic lottery and have done absolutely nothing more than anybody else to deserve it. With that attitude, I do what I can to make life unfair in other people's favor, but not nearly as often as I should.

Of course life's not fair. Do you know how frickin' boring it would be if it were? There'd be no challenges. There'd be no happiness or sadness b/c we wouldn't know the difference... for it to be fair we'd all have to feel exactly the sameas everyone else always. We'd all look the same, have the same taste, have the same abilities. There'd be no innovation b/c we'd all be complacent being on the same level, in the same place as everyone else with no need for anything else. Incredibly, incredbly boring.

We all have a tendency to feel like the world is only unfair to us... I always tell myself that there is someone out there who is going through it worse than I am and with less.

All the time. Life's never meant to be 'fair'. This is our creator's way to get the most out of an individual - either we learn and become better, or we gave up and end up losers. So that every individual works/fights for themselves, depending on how/what they want to become.

Life has always been unfair, in order for "life" to achieve 'fairness", everyone and everything would have to be identical - never going to happen!

Fairness is a concept invented by humans, who wants to control.
In life only experience exists.
