We have a mouse in our house. It's hiding in my parents closet. We set up two mouse traps in front of it and my dad went and got a post card with a picture of a cat on it and set it up in front of the closet to scare the mouse into submission, if it does decide to come out. I'm allergic to cats..that's why he decided to set up a post card picture of a cat for the mice to look at. What do you think of this?

forget the picture,it will mean nothing to a mouse. put a piece of bacon on the traps and stay away from the closet. they will only come out if it is quiet. they will smell the bacon and will get hungry eventually.

put the mouse traps in the closet and put some peanut butter( just a finger nail of it on the "trigger" load the trap. and close the closet door. or leave it slightly open and go to bed or out for the day. It will be occupied within 24 hrs. The cat picture does nothing.
