I don't know about him being the league MVP and the whole thing about winning the NFC is completely out of their range but I do believe they will be better this season then they have been. I think in about a year or two if the Lions keep up with what they're doing and if Calvin Johnson works out that they will be contenders for the playoffs, but not this season.

I haven't seen ANYBODY pick the Lions to win the NFC. I think they have some good talent in place but its gonna take a little bit for them to put it all together. I do believe they have an opportunity to win the division... maybe not this year but maybe next. Right now the Bears are the only ones in the division that could pull that off and even they are overrated.

No Lions is not going to win the NFC. New Orleans will win the NFC. No Jon Kitna won't be MVP.

I'm guessing that this is a joke?
I don't know anyone who is picking the Lions to win anything. Furthermore, anyone who believes Jon Kitna to be an MVP-caliber QB obviously missed his first decade in the league.

being that detroit has no defense and will always be trailing other teams, i'm looking for a big season from kitna, he's on my fantasy team. i don't know about winning the NFC though.

You must know something the majority of us don't because Detroit is picked to finish 4th in the NFC North. If they win the NFC, we will need to see how much Matt Millen paid the officials and paid the opposiung teams not to show up. This is very highly unlikely

You have to be kidding? I haven't seen anyone pick them to win the NFC. I haven't seen anyone pick them to win their division.
I've seen where they might be a sleeper team, but winning the division or conference is out of the question.
Kitna could have a good year, but he's not MVP material.
