When blizzard tells you that you got a restriction on diablo 2 does it mean they restricted the cd key or your ip? only people that know what there talking about

It's the key - it happens when two or more people log in using the same key...
Simply banning the ip is useless - all you have to do is disconnect from the internet, and log back on with a different ip address!
Which is WHY I keep telling EVERYONE on here that asks for a key (for ANY game) that it won't work ;););)

usually this means u do not have a right cd key or somebody else is using your key...if those aren't possibilities just exit out of d2 and wait 15min to 1hr and it will b back

try using us west if u play on east or vice versa or try coning someone out of their cd key thats what my bro did

i might be the cd key. have your cd key at all time.
