Maybe.
You should buy some prior to your period starting. I always make sure I have a pack of pads in the bathroom just in case it does pop up on me, so my fiance does not have to run and get me anything.

My husband goes out and gets mine for me on occasion, when he's going to the store anyway and I say I need them. He isn't embarrassed, but most guys are. They just feel weird doing it. Its really not about the pics on the box, its just strange for them. They feel like they are being watched or talked about or that it makes them less of a man. Just don't expect him to do it or to want to do it. If you seem to run out of pads every month, then buy bigger packages or buy two or three packs at a time and make sure you always have enough. Good luck!

My boyfriend has no problem going out and buying me pads. Even if i had some and just wanted some extra ones he'd go out and buy them. And if i didn't have any he'd insist on going to the store and buy me some.Your boyfriend need to understand that this is something that we women go through and there's nothing for him to be embarrased about .

No, guys feel weird buying anything meant for women. Dont ask him to buy tampons, pregnancy tests, underwear, clothes, or anything that women only wear. Hope I helped. Even if theyre in an unmarked box, he still knows what they are.

Why not just stock up and not wait until you start to buy pads?

i doubt it. they still know whats in the box and that's all that matters. you just have to learn to stock up. i asked my husband to buy them 1 time and that was after i had a cesarean with our first son.(21 yrs ago) it nearly killed him. i didn't think it was such a big deal since i had just given birth but i never asked him again. i guess i can see his point now.

Maybe they're embarrased to buy them because they're male buying female products. It's not really bad for them to be that way though.

Probably. Sometimes I have to send my dad to get pads for me, and he has it wrapped up in a brown paper bag like it's something horrible that nobody should see. I've come to the conclusion that men who are not secure in themselves are like that.

Why should you have to send your male partner to the store to get those sorts of things for you? You should know when your period is, and you should just stock up before you start, not send your boyfriend after them...
