what color is "bordeaux" like?

i saw shoes on aldo that is bordeaux colored but i don't really know what it's similar to. there isn't a preview for the shoe in that color so i don't know exactly what it looks like.

is it a dark red? dark purple?

bordeaux is kind of a deep purple-y/red. its like wine only a little more berry coloured.
