Why Sehwag is not included in the Indian test team?

I think Virender Sehwag is a magnificent player. He must play for India. I think he is better than Laxman, Karthik, Jaffer. Why has he dropped from the team? His statistics shows that he is a very good test batsman. His average almost 50. 12 hundreds including one triple against Pakistan.

he might averge round 50 but look at his form before he was dropped he averged 18.9 in his last 10 test innings. put that with so similar ODI form and the good form of both jaffer and karthik means sehwag is on the sidelines

Though Sehwag is a very good batsman in the recent past his form has been very poor and he has failed to convert the good start he got to goot score. He has also failed to learn from his mistakes to correct the flaw in his batting.
