Some men dont bloom till they're in their 20s. If your a late person, your a late person, too bad but that's life. You might be like that till Senior year or maybe a growth spurt by next year.

RELAX....you are COMPLETELY normal. Promise. All boys go through puberty at different ages...actually most boys mature a little later than girls. Girls will get their period between 5th and 9th grade and boys will catch up with their development around sophomore or junior year of high school. Yes, there is a way to speed it up with medicine but you don't need it.
I know it may be hard to talk to your mom and dad or even your doctor...but you need to find someone you can trust to talk to. You need a friend or a trusted adult that you can go to at any time and not feel silly. Do you know anyone like that? Pretty soon you are going to have lots of questions about sex and pregnancy and STD's and condoms and I want you to be able to talk to someone you can trust.
But back to your body...
You are completely NORMAL.

I "bloomed" when I was in the 4th grade. I had a friend in high school whose body still had not changed when we graduated...(he was 18).

I saw him a couple of years later and he was then 6" taller than me.

Everyone is different. I look older now than I should because I reached puberty so early...so there is an advantage to your predicament.

you're probably just a "late bloomer" so to speak. no way to speed it up i'm afraid. if you're truly concerned about this, just talk to the doc. it's easier than talking to your folks. your doc can give you all the answers you need and be able to back them up. also, if he feels as if there's a problem, he'll take care of it. don't just sit and fret about it. talk to someone who knows. it'll help you.
