I injured a muscle that affects my back and abdominal muscles. I do have pain sometimes and I am limited to doing certain things. Do you think it is safe for me to get on a roller coaster? It's not like I will be doing push ups, right? What do youn think? Will I hurt myself or will I be okay? I mean I will be sitting down in the roller coaster.

I'm asking in the entertainment catagory because no will answer me in the health catagory

I tore a ligament in my lower front ribcage. You wouldn't think sitting down that it would be jerked around and hurt but I rode a city bus home and every jolt and braking was murder. I would say don't go on the roller coaster. Even sitting, you're going to get jerked around and jounced. Wait until you're healed.

If I were you, I'm not going to go on a roller coaster ride with a back ache like that. Our body tend to respond to the g-force acting on it. For example, if you're in a car and it takes a corner very fast, your body will be push to a direction by the g force, and it will react by pushing itself to the opposing direction..

I'm not an expert, but I think you'll be working those muscle during the ride. Furthermore, you wouldn't want to be throwing your body around.

You could cause further injury, and deep down your probably know it. Do you want to risk it? A bad choice could affect the ways you can or can't do things for the rest of your life.

Not the greatest idea the way those rides jerk one around. Are you wearing a back brace? I would call my doctor before doing that and you all ready know his advice will be NO WAY!

i'm gonna say not the best idea. roller costers really yank you around. and if you back hurts you will end up hurting worse.

You shouldn't play guessing games with your back.
If you make the wrong decision you could end up crippled for life like me.
