I think you've got a pretty good team chosen, so I'll just list the ones on which I disagree with you.

OF - I'd replace Sam Crawford with Harry Heilmann and his amazing .342 career batting average. Both were actually right fielders, but I'd put Heilmann in left because you can't move Kaline from right field.

Starters - I like your first four, but Fidrych was gone too quickly for my liking. I'd pick Tommy Bridges in his place. Bridges didn't have a great ERA, but he put up some excellent season for the pre-WWII Tigers.

I know another post said Pudge should be behind the plate, but he needs to wear a Tigers uniform for another 5-7 years before he could even be considered over Mickey Cochrane.

Charlie Gehringer was the greastest 2b of all-time yet you put Lou in for him are you nuts?
Willie Horton was the all-time DH, Gibby was great in 81 and 84 for the Tigers, but he does not hold a candle to Horton. Also, deserving spots as relievers should be John Hiller and Aurelio Lopez. Substitute starter for the Bird I would rather have Justin Verlander, althought the case has not been made completely yet.

pretty happy w/ your line up, but you gotta put pudge behind the plate, and Leyland rallying the team.
I'm a die hard Inge fan, but I think you got it wright with Kell though.

Half them guys are too old or dead. I would put this years team up against the old guys you listed.
