I'm a sophmore in high school. I drink to get drunk. but i've only been "can't walk or talk wasted" once. i've smoked weed once while i was drunk. and i've smoked cigarettes a couple of times before. yet i have never had sex or even hooked up with a guy. Am i normal? What were you doing when you were my age?

theres nothing wrong with smoking and drinking. its wierd to not do that. some people would say its "bad" or "wierd" its not bad, its just illegal. and its only illegal if your get caught. not having sex isnt a big deal. if you wer a sophmorein college, it would be a completely different story. and the making out with a guy thing isnt that wierd. actually i havent made out with a girl. but im not a looser or anything so i dont care. and you shouldnt either. just do what you want, have fun. live to enjoy life, not to be normal.
and dont listen to any of the other answers especial samanthas, there all one sided
just dont get caught, dont die, dont try anything addictive like herroin and blow. and dont drop out and your fine.

I started smoking at 16, I smoked pot a few times, I got drunk for the first time at 16, and I lost my virginity at 16, wow-what a year. By my junior year I was over it. I have no regrets, I feel it was a learning experience, but that doesn't mean I wasn't stupid. I could've gotten into alot more trouble if I hadn't been as lucky---please keep yourself in check!

You sound ok. You are doing more stuff than I did but you know what is right and wrong. Know this that now when you drink, smoke or fool around it feels like you are rebelling and kind of fun. Soon, you will be the only one to pay the price for anything like that. That said, you sound normal to me and I hope that you enjoy every moment of this sweet time of life.

hey ive done **** like that too but i started ma freshman year ima sophmore right now so... hey i wont lie ive done drugs gotten drunk but never can walk drunk.. umm yeah ur pretty much living a little earlier that others but aslong as you dont push your luck its all good... hey enjoy yourself just becareful not to get too drunk or high thats when bad **** happens... and always have a friend that will for sure take care of you no matter what

Im a junior, i was a sophomore a year ago. Unlike the dip-shet above me I didn't smoke pot, get drunk etc. Its against the law and it is bad. Every time you drink a bear, smoke pot, etc you are permanently stunting the growth of your brain in some way. Maybe you should not listen to all the *** holes on here who said "yah that was normal" and try to improve yourself. You shouldn't be ******* yourself up you should be using the best years of your life to get stronger and smarter.

You are totally normal.
I was doing the same exact thing, except I didn't smoke weed. Everyone else was though. Just don't rely on the above to fit in. Moderation. Be yourself and Be healthy
You should not be doing any of what you said.

I never did any of that in high school. I've smoked a couple of times but that was after.
But it's not out of the ordinary, a lot of people do that kind of thing, doesn't make it so good though.

Hey wow, you're just like me! No, you're not a bad kid, I used to get drink on occasion, but I was a complete pothead and I smoked cigarette's like crazy (still smoke Cigarette's, but rarely.) you're just a teenager. But honestly, it's better to get out of those situations, and I don't mean to give you a sermon or anything, it's just, After I found Christ I immediatly stopped all that crap I was doing, because I felt incredible. You're not a bad kid, just a kid stuck in the wrong place, it doesn't make much sence I know, but, After getting over that stage in my life, it made perfect sence.

Well, it's nice to know how supportive everyone is. How can you belittle someone who is genuinely asking for advice? I did a lot worse than you in high school. I am now a perfectly functional member of society. I am not a "twit" nor have I ever been. I am not a drug addict, prostitute or home wrecker. This is merely a stage of experimentation. you are not a kid, you know right from wrong. You will never earn respect acting this way and your friends will only be there for the party and not there when you are in need
