When I was young and dating, no, they did not approve. It wasn't because they thought one race was better than the other, it was because they believed that whatever your race you should marry someone of the same race. It's how they were taught and what they believed. I didn't agree, however, and did date men of other races but married a man of my own race.

They have become accustomed to it. Some approve, some do not. Race is not a factor in who I date.

Honestly, no. Before I was married, I dated outside my race, and although parents like to say that everyone is equal and skin color doesn't matter, it sure does when it comes to their daughter.

most definatley. I've never dated *within* my race lol, they don't care, never dated within my relegion either.
hmm also, once uppon a time, not so long ago, it was as taboo to marry outside of ones race, as gay marriage is these days. it's called progress, another interesting thing is that the many of same people who complained about interracial relationships are those complaining about gay marriage.

They wouldn't mind it as long as I was happy then they will be happy. My parents are very open minded about people, they don't look at race as being an issue to them...That is the same idea they taught me and I abide by it as well.

but to answer your question... my family is reasonable. they wouldn't think anything strange about it. my mom teaches broken english to 3-5th graders, they are all different races and she loves them all. she would love if i dated outside my race

Depends on who in my family you ask. My grandparents are old fashioned..they wouldnt approve. My mom wouldnt care. My sis probably wouldnt care either lol.

Yep, as long as their a good person. We're an Equal opportunity family. My dad is German and Haitian, and my mom is Brazilian and black. lol I'm a mutt but it's all good the ladies love me : )
