I really want to go to this great end of summer pool party Saturday night with my boyfriend but I'm grounded and I'm also not allowed to see him. I have my own car so I need a way to get it out without my mom hearing it. She usually goes to bed around 10 and since nothing really happens at parties around here until 11 anyway, I could get there later. Is it best to sneak out the back door and have someone pick me up or try to get the car out?

You know the right thing to do is stay home...but I was young once and did stupid stuff. I got into trouble a few times, pretty bad actually, but I don't regret it. I was young and rebellious, and I turned out very well rounded. You sound like you're gonna go no matter what people tell you...so have someone pick you up, if you have a cell phone, bring it just in case your parents realize you're gone...answer it if they call because they will worry if you don't. BE PREPARED to get caught! And just make sure the person who drops you off afterwards isn't drunk. I'm only telling you this because you know you're going anyway, just don't be stupid, and be careful.

Do not sneak out. You may be able to get out, but the sneaking back in part might not be so easy. What if your parents discover you are not in your room? You know the punishment will even be worse after that. you might not be allowed to go to Homecoming Dance, Football games, or other events. You will have proven to your parents that they can't trust you. Trust is a terrible thing to lose.

Don't sneak out! You'll regret it later. Consequences are, they'll take away your car but if you wanna take the risk okay go ahead but many people warned you.
If you still wanna be a bad girl, just call your bf and tell him to pick you up and try sneaking out from the back door if possible. Good luck!

I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but sneaking out is really a bad idea. For one thing something bad could happen to you and your parents wouldn't even now you were missing. Another reason is that rule are good for you and will help you grow up into a happy person.

Don't do it. I got caught the first time. We were slick and put the car in nuetral and pushed it out of the driveway then when my sister and I arrived back home all the doors and windows were locked and the living room lights were on. Bad news. Not only that, you will spend all night worrying. If you get caught and have a terrible time then have to face parents in the middle of the night...THat is even crappier

I am a mom. No you shouldn't sneak out. But, I will tell you how my sister used to get off punishment. She would get on my mother's nerves. She would have my mom fix her something to eat. She would talk her to death. Mope, I mean MOPE around the house. She would drive my mom crazy to the point that she would take her off punishment. Then all of her friends would call to ask if she could come out to where ever or whatever they were doing. It always worked. Today, it works for my son too! He just doesnt know it!

through you mom's window! no not really, but when teens sneak out that is when bad things happen. just wait out your grounding, and go to the biggest and hottest pool party bash at the end of summer that every1 goes too

Im going to give you a tip, try not to make it seem like you really want to go to this party. Hopefully your mom will forget about what day it is. If she forgot about it then if you sneak out it should be ok. If she remembered what if she checks up on you at a wiered hour to make sure your still in bed? If you get caught your going to be in 10xs more trouble and perhaps you will miss out on somthing more exciting. I say suck it up, live and learn, and spend time with your mom sat.

or you could just ask for another week to be grounded if your allowed to go to a friends house for her birthday sleep over (even tho its a pool party) plus that gives you the whole night not like a curfew just be careful! ....don't do anything stupid because if you ahve my kinda luck you will wreck the car or something like that and have to call your mom...don't break your moms repect and trust you will never get it back EVERRRR!!! but a lil white lie won't hurt

not that i would encourage sneaking out but.........i guess i can understand u wanting 2 go 2 this party. yea if u take the car out, u risk getting caught so i guess have a friend pick u up. um, good luck??
