For the primary six months should you breastfeed exclusively (i.E. No bottles or pacifiers) the expense of pregnancy is the equal as in case you have been using the pill as long as you're no longer having your interval. After that the cost of being pregnant raises, but if you are now not having your period possibilities are still pretty minimal. On the La Leche League website they have a whole article that talks about how to use breastfeeding as a form of delivery manage. I am on my fourth pregancy and certainly not bought pregnant at the same time I was breastfeeding despite the fact that I used to be hit or miss with the tablet and/or condoms. With my 0.33 little one I did not use anything however breastfeeding for birth manipulate and that i didn't get pregnant except 2/three months after I weaned him and he was 18 months before I might get him to discontinue wanting to nurse! My other two had been a bit over a 12 months old when I weaned them. As soon as your youngster begins sound asleep through the night time you can also want to consider different birth manage choices, however mine under no circumstances do until I wean them which is more often than not why breastfeeding works so well for me. Just right good fortune!

YES!!! I got pregnant w/ my third baby when my second one was only 5 months old...I was breastfeeding exclusively and hadn't had a period...you can definitely get preggo while b/f! The worst part is you don't know when you're ovulating b/c you have no period to go by yet!!! Be careful!!! Talk to your dr about low hormone birth control or use condoms...good luck and congrats on your little guy!

Yes you absolutely can still get pregnant even though you have not had a period yet. Breastfeeding can suppress fertility, but it doesn't stop it altogether - I was still breastfeeding my oldest (8 months old) when I got pregnant with the second. AND we used condoms.

Lactation Amenorrhea and Ecological Breastfeeding are both highly effective forms of birth control however as you are only breastfeeding 6 times a day and aren't meeting the other rules (I assume) the chances of getting pregnant go way up.

LMAO, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad you asked this question. I was told that breastfeeding is a form of birth control. Guess what??? 4 Weeks after having baby, I was pregnant!!!!!!!!! After doing extensive research, the truth of the matter is.. breastfeeding actually makes you 10 x's more fertile than normal!!! Chances are honey, you may be pregnant!! I hate to tell you, but it's true!!
And guess what I have discovered today, to all the ladies out there wondering "if they are"... I went to the Dollar Tree today, and they sell pregnancy tests for $1 !!!!!!!!!!! Over 99% Accurate!! Race to the Tree & stock up ladies!! They're next to the hair rollers & stuff!
