well i saw these news in Milan's official site right now

& I really wonder what does they mean by- :"Pato will train with Milan and will be able to play the friendly matches starting from the 3rd of September 2007. From the 3rd of January 2008 onwards he will also be able to play in the official games."
Does this mean that he wonot be available to play in Uefa Champions League & Serie A until January???
anyway Iam just so happy to see him in Milan

yeah Napoli i heard that Pato's first official game with Milan will be against Napoli in the Serie A :)

@BaByBoy:u r just jealous bec he didnot sign for Inter :) !! if he was overrated Big clubs like Milan,Inter Milan,Chelsea&Real Madrid wonot be chasing him!! anyway we shall see if he is overrated or not in January

I'm glad he signed with us because he will be the best player in the world. Me too I don't understand what their talking about. I guess it means he can't play in the Champions League and the even Serie A itself until January.

Pato arriverà in Italia subito, forse già domani; e sarà disponibile immediatamente anche se potrà disputerà solo amichevoli ufficiali. Per le prime partite di campionato bisognerà aspettare gennaio.
he's coming, but, he won't be able to play OFFICIAL matches (i.e., he can play in flriendlies) until January 2008,
due to his age (he turns 18 on Sept 07). good luck, Milan looks like they did very well on the transfer market.

It's because of his age.. you have to be 18 as of the start of the season.. this year the season starts at the end of August and his bday is Sept 3rd.. kinds sucks for him.. Every team apparently doesn't like the schedule this season though. 1st time they start this early. He won't be able to play in the champions league either. Or the Coppa Italia for that matter.

Due to his age, Pato cannot play in any official games until after the winter break.
He can only take part in friendlies and train until then.

I think that means that he can play, but his first match will be on September 3rd. Great that he went to AC Milan wish him all the luck = ]

i'm really not sure but from what i had been hearing and reading it was because of his age that he wont be able to play in champions. but like i said i'm not sure but i'm looking into it. oh well the important thing is that he is with us and hopefully we'll see great things from this young player.
