I think it's because they have to deal with a lot of jerks all day. This isn't to say that you were being one, but once you have to deal with a lot of them, it's hard to be nice to people that aren't being jerky.

Because,Many people at the DMV dislike to go out and get there License Plate's and Driver's License renewed,because they are to lazy and afraid that there car/license will be deducted from there possesstion.

They have one of the most boring jobs ever. They deal with so many people that are tired of waiting in line and are cranky themselves. All day long they just take one person after another. They have probably gotten to the point where they just do not care anymore.

Because they couldn't get a better job, lol. j/k I don't know, maybe they have to deal with a lot of problems throughout the whole day! I hate the people that do that driving test. They scare me <3

They are like the bartenders that don't get tips. They deal with stupid people all day and get nothing out of it. Can you really blame them? You may have to deal with one jerk for a few minutes in your day by submissing yourself to their crazy rules and regulations. But he or she makes a living by dealing with jerks like you and I all day every day.
