I would say that it's very possible you were correct. While women obviously have more fertile times of the month and so on, it is still possible to get pregnant at any time.

It is usually unlikely that you ovulated 3 days after your period, it normally takes a week or two, but not everyone can set a clock by their body. You may have had a period during your first month and you could have miscalculated.. At any rate, you are pregnant.. Congratulations and enjoy it... As long as your Dr did an ultrasound and says everything is going OK, why beat yourself up over what other people think.

Well, nothing is IMPOSSIBLE! However, your fertile days, if you have a regular 28 day cycle, are days 11 - 14 after the first day of your period... with day 14 being the day the egg is released. So from the day you start your period, count 11 days, this is the first day of fertility. The following 3 days will be even more fertile. The 4th day is still possible but fertility is low. If you do get pregnant, the egg will implant into the uterus on the 21st day after the first day of your period (so from the day you start your period, count 21 days).
Hope I didn't confuse you!! Go to my favorite website, and check out the ovulation calendar to better understand when you most likely conceived. Click on "Most Fertile Days". It's quick & easy!! Just enter the first day of your last period, and how long your cycle is (ie. every 28 days, or 26 days, whatever yours is)
Congrats on the baby!

All women ovulate at different times depend on how long your cycle is if you have a shorter cycle of course you will ovulate alot sooner after your period is over and if you have a longer cycle you will ovulate alot later. Like me i have a 24 day cycle and i ovulate 3 or 4 days after my period trust me i know because i got pregnant going by how i ovulate . So no 2 women are the same.

I am not sure if you miscalculated or not but I think your best bet is to either go to a website like www.babyzone.com or type in "due date calculator" in your search bar. Thats what I've always did. The doctor's take the first day of last menstural period , subtract 3 months and add 7 days.... For example... LMP July 3rd....subtract 3 months...equals April 3 rd, add 7 days...equals April 10th..due date. good luck

You can get pregnant right after your period, so I think your calculations are correct. that is what happened to me. i got pregnant like the day after mine ended. my husband and i were using the family planning method, and using what are called cycle beads (string of beads that you move a ring on each day of your cycle so you know when you are most fertile). we knew when it happened because we werent using any protection and as soon as it happened we both kinda looked at each other, like whoops! cause it just kinda happened fast...:) i dont know why ppl on here say you cant get pregnant right after your period....you can. if your cycle is running normal its quite possible and i am proof of that ;)
