Worried about the QB and WR positions but am excited to see AP and Chester Taylor in the backfield. Hope the pass defense is improved to go along with the run D from last year. Skol Vikings!

I think the Vikings have a chance to surprise some people this season. If their offense is even just a little bit better then last year, with the defense they have, they should win a few more games. Last year they lost so many close teams.

The defense will be solid, and the pass defense should be better.

I think Peterson is really going to help the offense. Chester Taylor won't get as many carries as last year, so he shouldn't get worn down like he did last year.

It will be interesting to see, but I don't see the Vikings getting blown out in a lot of games. If they can stay in the games, and win some of the close ones they lost lost year, they will have a decent season.

The passing game needs to make big strides quick to get the D to play honest, otherwise it's going to be a long year for taylor and Peterson, running against stacked fronts.
On D, the Vikings didn't really get a cover linebacker, so their biggest weakness remains. Also, they need to pressure the passer a lot more. They were 1st against the run and 31st against the pass last year, and haven't done a lot to make that better.
Special teams is, or should be, a bright spot. Overall though, I don't see a very good season in their future unless Tarvaris is the offensive player of the year in the NFL. That doesn't seem very likely to me.

Peterson will win the rookie of the year. But, with Grossman having a whole year to learn as a starter and Ulacher still around, the bears will still win the North...even without Briggs and Jones. Vikings will make the wild card though.

I'm not a Vikings fan but I am interested in seeing how Adrian Peterson does in the NFL. Although its not looking too good right now as his problems with injuries seem to have followed him to the NFL. He left practice today with an injury to his hip which he claims is just a minor hip pointer but you never know.

Minnesota used to be a good team...not so much anymore. they'll rebuild though. but i do agree that chicago will prolly win the North again this year. And green bay is not underrated, they are my favorite team and have all my loyalty....but the last couple of years we have not been underrated, we have jus sucked.

they had it in the past...culpepper to moss...culpepper to moss...culpepper to moss...culpepper to moss. but now they will be close to .500 the pass needs to get better on both sides of the ball but the defence has an edge over the offence there. the RUN will be crazy good (similar to the saints) and our run defence is the best in the league. maybe if they can pull it together we can get the purple people eaters going again...hahaha
