I can't stand hot weather (85 degrees plus) in the summer.

usually not too bad. mostly in the 80s. in the summer it gets great natural air conditioning with the fog that comes in off the ocean. However, it can at times have a little heat spell and get into the 90s, but those don't last a whole long time. maybe few days or so.
the further north you go the warmer it will get. And Napa County just over hills is also warmer.

It usually is pretty hot out that way (90+), but this summer has been really mild so far.
