What do you all think of the following names?

If it's a girl: Jordahn Ray [Jordahn, because my mother named us all with J's and I'd like to stick to the tradition. Ray, because it was almost given to me at birth, and it's my dad's middle name, my uncles first name and my grandfather's, R.I.P.]

If it's a boy: Joseph Adam [Adam is also a family name].
So watcha think? Any adaptations you'd make?
Any suggestions for other first name or middle names, or both?

Of course, I've thought of Joseph's nickname, and we'd probably just call him "Sephy" while he's a baby or "Seph".

As for spelling "Ray", like "Rae" that i hadn't thought of, this is why I needed you guys! lol, thanks.

Both names are very cute, but Jordahn's spelling is kinda confusing! Especially when she is young and is learning to write out her name....I personally like Jordin better. I like how you chose names that reflect your family members, but maybe spelling Ray, a little differently to make it more "girlish" might work better. How about Jordin Rae? It will still be a tribute to all your family members, just with a little more girlish flare!

Joseph Adam is perfect! Love it!

You picked out great names, but I would personally tweak the girls name just a little bit!

Good luck! :)

I would start by spelling Jordahn - 'Jordan' - as it's easier to see it and say it straight up without having to think about it.
And I would spell Ray - "Rae" - as its the feminine spelling but still has the family history

So Jordan Rae would be very nice. Good choice!
Jolie Rae and Jasmine Rae are also good picks.

And Joseph Adam, can't find anything wrong with that, except don't nickname him joey as its really 80's and sounds terrible.
What about Joshua Adam? Joshua is a little nicer I think and Josh is better as a pet name than Joe/Joey

I would spell Jordan correctly.

And I think Joseph Adam is nice. But I like Adam Joseph better. :)

Nice names. Some other thoughts:
The spelling of Jordahn (instead of Jordan) is unique. As a girl is would spell Ray as Rae.
Jerry (girl is Jerri)
Jerald - - Several men with that spelling instead of Gerald.

I love the names Jamari for a girl and Jabari for a boy. It might be different spellings for different people though. I believe that those two names are adorable and they have a sexy vibe about them.
