I really wasnt gomez back so they can put shaun green on the beanch and put gomez in right. I know willie probally wont do that but unless green starts hitting again they need to put some in there with some pop. Does anyone know when hes coming back.

He had surgery in early July and isn't expected back until September:

I'm a Mets fan and if you are looking for pop, Gomez is not the answer. He will develop some power, but he doesn't have much right now.

probably going to be at least another 4-5 weeks for gomez to be game ready after breaking that bone in his hand.
