I think the status they have right now suites them just fine. They're defeated; a minority; and they thrive on AM talk radio. Seems to be their natural place in society.

You do realize that every liberal that has ever tried to have a program on Talk Radio has failed miserably, why do you think they want to get the fairness doctrine passed? they want to get rid of all of the conservative talk show hosts.

Except for a few stations ABC, CBS, NBC and my favorite which I call Communist News Network (CNN) do not tell the whole story, much like the questions posed by some of the liberals on Y/A

hahahahahhahahahha liberals. It's hilarious to see how unintelligent you all can be. When it comes down to it when it comes to votes the polls show that liberals are the minority. You all probably thought we were defeated last election too but look who's still sleeping in the White House. That's right good old George W. Bush!! He's a Republican by the way (Republicans are also known as Conservatives in case you didn't know). Most Americans aren't lazy or stupid enough to believe the way Liberals do. And looking at these answers there's a whole lot more Republicans on Yahoo Answers too.

Over 50% of Americans don't want the U.S. to leave Iraq (July 2007 poll). Besides only swing voters (people who are independents) changed the election. Most people still voted for their party.

Democrats mislead independents into thinking they were going to change things in Iraq. In reality, Democrats in congress can't do very much to change the war in Iraq since the constitution gives presidents full control of the military. Also, if the U.S. did leave Iraq, then Democrats would have nothing to bad mouth the Republican party about in the 2008 elections.

Besides top democrats don't want to leave Iraq. A top liberal senator named Feinstein is a war profiteer. Her husband has a $600 million army contract. "In February, the firm won an army engineering and logistics contract that could bring in $3.1 billion during the next eight years." http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2003/04/22/MN310531.DTL

*chuckle* the assumption that a person "lives" in AM radio as demeaning, is no more presumptive than "living" on Yahoo Answers.

As for being defeated, help us when trying to stand up and protect your wallet gets defeated. Or when we decide the war on drugs is defeated, or the war on crime, or the war on terror.

Guess what I'm saying is it might not be a good thing to dismiss them. Then we're left with Obama and Hillary arguing about the right way to play geo-politics with Pakistan and other countries, as if their borders were imaginary, and hey...like Hillary says...don't ever say "we don't take nukes off the table." Real easy to just arbitrarily decide to use a nuke to chase a two-bit terrorist in a country that can't nuke you back.

can almost see the conversation...."we should use 2 nukes...no.. lets make it 3 for good measure. Can they nuke us back? No? then what are we waiting for? I want to see some glass parking lots!"

By the way...I'm not "Conservative", but I do see them as the lesser of two evils.

The only reason the dems took control of congress is because CONSERVATIVE dems won seats. This country is more right then left and as long as we stay that way we have a chance at remaining a great free economically sound militarily strong nation.

Look at what is bringing our country down, liberal policies. Total lack of personal responsiblity because they can rely on gvt to hand them everything. Broken open borders allowing illegals to drain resources and just welcoming terrorists in. Apologizing to our enemies instead of kicking their butts. Half of our paychecks going to taxes that go to pork and cant even make sure our bridges are safe while we sit in hours of traffic because the money is helping to pay for birth control instead of new freeways. Money being poured into a social security program that will go bankrupt instead of personal retirement accounts. Schools that just keep pouring more money into programs that arent showing results.

Yes thank you liberals for making our country weaker and thank goodness there arent as many of you as you seem to think.

And don't Liberals function better as a loud, obnoxious, whining group that sit on their couches all day and smoke weed? When you make generalizations, they come back to bite you in the butt. Keep believing that we are a "minority", even though during election the so-called "minority" seems to outnumber your little "majority" by quite a bit.

The funny thing about people is that they are all talk and no action when it comes to wanting answers from the government. Nothing changes and you change nothing.
