I want to change my last name permanently. I am single, and not married. I've decided that I don't want my family last name anymore (which has English heritage) and want to change it to a Spanish last name. Do you think the courts will let me do this?

Depends how old you are.

If you are considered an adult (over 18) you can change it.

I guess it would depend on the reasons why? (other than an English last name) I think there may be more to this question than you're telling us, and maybe you should just sit on it for a while and really give it some thought. I know if MY son wanted to change his last name I would be very hurt and want to know the reason behind it. If your having family problems, this may all blow over soon and you would have changed your name and maybe hurt some family members. You may even end up regretting it yourself one day. :)

i could date you, yet we are the two women and that i dont rather roll like that... Plus i admire hooking up with any random guy I see on the three broomsticks. Dont decide. perhaps my center call is Ke$ha and that i've got slept with all and sundry on the freaking planet and contacted each and every STD available? SO? observe: this isnt hating on Ke$ha. Her song is fairly relaxing to bounce too, so sorry if I indignant all people.

I don't think it matters why you want to change it, but whether or not you have the money to do it. I'm not sure, but I think it costs a couple thousand to do so?
