In 2002, the Cubs traded pitchers Dontrelle Willis, Julián Tavárez, José Cueto, and catcher Ryan Jorgensen to the Florida Marlins.

In return the Cubs acquired pitchers Matt Clement and Antonio Alfonseca.

D-Train was an 8th round pick. At the time it was probably looking pretty good. But we know how it turned out. Willis is about the only thing good that came out of that trade and Alfonseca is back with Florida.
