why do you think so many Americans are out of work? because of cheap overseas labor, lower standards and unskilled workers who will send bad products just to keep the bottom line fat!its not just toys it is our food ,do not buy seafood from China,Vietnam,Japan or Hong KONG THEY ARE USING ANTIBIOTICS WHICH HAVE BEEN BANNED HERE IN THE USA FOR GOOD REASONS.PEOPLE STAND UP AND STOP ACCEPTING UNSAFE INFERIOR PRODUCTS! IT IS CRAP YOU HAVE SHUT OUR FACTORY'S DOWN AND ROBBED OUR CITIZENS OF DECENT WAGES SO YOU COULD MAKE HUGE PROFITS AND ENDANGER CONSUMERS ACROSS THE GLOBE!WAKE UP ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY!

I think that this isn't a question and more of a statement posted to evoke response.
I also think that some of these posters need to take a basic economics class instead of making comments about the world market they know nothing about.

US Workers are snobs - you see they want fair wages, and they want health insurance and other rights.
Other countries we can close a blind eye to their factories. You see it is the NIMBY (not in my back yard) syndrome. If they have kids working there, or if they don't get fair pay why should we care? It is a bargain after all.
Even Hershey's is getting ready to move a factory out of the US now.
When shopping if you find two comparable products - check where they are made. Pay the extra $ for the MADE IN THE USA label. You're putting wages in the pockets of your neighbors, and you're telling companies that we want US products!

well, labor there is very cheap, $250US is good for one month's pay but I'd say good brands like fisherprice should have no problem with too much lead.

Yes it's true Wal-Mart is the Chinese embassy. With a little research and expense it is possible to largely avoid Chinese products. I buy lots of them, but I will not buy food imported from there.

95% of all things are made in China, Taiwan, South Korea and Indonesia. I bet if you look at the label of your shoes, clothes, underwear and socks you got on right now, it will say made in one of those places I just named.
