That is a good question. I have a blind friend and I describe things to her as best I can. She touches things with her hands and describes them as 'beautiful' or whatever she feels they are, and in her mind she 'sees' them. I asked her how she 'sees' things and she said she just has her own unique 'picture' of whatever it is. Of course, it's probably not anything like the real object or color, but that doesn't stop her! She doesn't look at blindness as a handicap, it's just the way she is. But to answer your question, I don't think you can really describe colors as they are to someone who has never seen them.

Interesting question, I think it would be impossible I mean how can you describe color to someone blind sure you could say its like anger fire but how would someone born blind know what fire looks like?

Yeah Im pretty sure its impossible.

While it is true that someone blind still can feel things like an icecube but its doesnt add up on how someone would know what color it was...

I would describe it in terms of feelings and emotions red- hot like fire intense like passionate love and extreme anger. I would associate colors with things in the world, cool water and blue.
