It depends how you define art and also on how you define spiritual. Art and spirtuality are very non-specific loose terms that everybody has their own unique understanding of so people usually use the same words but are talking about different things. For example, have you ever heard a 13 year old tell their crush that they "love" them and the next week they "love" somebody else and the week after it is yet another. It doesn't matter how you try and explain to the person that they aren't using the word correctly and don't know what love is, they say, "you don't know how I feel" and have a valid point but the word that is suppose to mean everything actually means nothing because it isn't solidified by an agreed upon meaning. (sorry for the run on sentence) Art and spirituality are words that fall into this category of monumental words that are so misused and abused nobody really knows what the other person means unless it is qualified. Wise is the person who learns something from everyone. Everything is made by the Eternal who is Spirit so everything is spiritual. So if everyone is an artist and everything is art then yes to all of your questions, if everyone is not an artist because they don't paint, write, play music etc, than a resounding no. Can you learn something from the guy who doesn't mow his lawn and it grows waist high? Sure. You learn what laziness brings. A fool can only learn from their own mistakes. Isn't that just as valid as learning how to be by something or someone that is aesethically pleasing.

This depends on what one considers art. If all life and thought constitute art, then art is the only true expression of spirituality, but my own concept of art - imaginative expression of creativity in the form of music or concrete creation - then there are other true expressions of spirituality, in the form of love, empathy and devotion (and perhaps other outlets I do not recall).
I do not believe all art is spiritual, but any art might be thought to be by some observers. I am certain that not all artists are true teachers or preachers, and that some fine preachers and teachers have little or no art to offer.

While art is wonderful to express the thoughts of soul, the mind, spirit,. Art is beautiful in the way it provokes others to wonder, think, comtemplate, be open to a world beyond this. Music is the words of the spirit, Art is the ideas of the spirit.
Art is life. Everything around has the potential to be beautiful to everyone. The beauty one sees and the thoughts it brings from art is dependent on the eye of the beholder.
Art is not the only true expression of spirituality, no. Open the mind wider please. It is easy to express your spirituality by the way you act. The way you smile at strangers. The way you take care of those who need you. Everything can be expressed through anything.
Art- can bring different ideas from different people. Bizarre music with digusting lyrics, comic book drawings with no story lines... are on the lower end of the art spectrum I'm sure. But none the less considered art, they are still on the spectrum.
All art could be spiritual, but in no way are artists our true teachers. If everything has the potential to be spiritual, then anyone has the potential to be a true teacher.

That would depend on how one "chooses" to define art. Spirituality is the connection to something greater than oneself and that perception can be an artistic approach to life in itself. Art, is abstract and cannot be defined or confined. It is a product of human activity in which to trigger the senses and the mind, very much like the experience of being "spiritual". Spirituality is expressed through actions or objects created with the intention of triggering our emotions and experience, as art is expressed through human creativity with the intention of triggering the same results. They are intertwined in life and define each other.

Art and Spirituality two roads by which men escape from
circumstance to ecstasy. Between aesthetic and spirituality rapture there is a family alliance. Art and Spiritual are means to similar states of mind.

The spirit expresses its self, the ego makes a decision for idea choice, the conscience judges it.
'Is all art spiritual'. I can not imagine a dead spirit, but I can imagine self estrangement. Is self estrangement positive? The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative. If it is unpleasant, is it not art, or art different.
All humans are artists. Are all humans good humans, or are some humans inhuman. Untrue artists are artists.

Music, like painting, is an ART. An artist expresses himself mostly through this. His passions, dreams and desires artistically take flight in his masterpieces. And yes, everything mystical is as beautiful as art itself. There's this art of praying, Art of loving, Art of understanding,.. which all reveals how our inner souls convey harmoniously with the rest of the world.

I don't believe all art is spiritual. some maybe. In my opinion, for what it's worth, artist paint or sculpt what they see in the physical world and some try to inject what they percieve as the spiritual side of what they think the world to be. I would say that that is only one's view of reality. T4

That's very interesting. I'm not sure what you mean by 'spiritual' or 'teachers,' though.
I think the arts alone allow us to express ourselves, but the teaching of expression is not the only 'true' type of education. Science and math are parts of education.
