SOUTHERN RAPPERS vs. NORTHERN RAPPERS...?

Question

I say they are both good.

I think Northern rappers are better at writing lyrics, but Southern rappers are better at rapping.

What do you think?

LOLz C.J., yeah, maybe I'm going to regret posting this question...I was curious to how many answers I'd get...But I'm not saying anything bad about either side, cuz I like them both.

I've never really listened to any rappers in California besides Snoop Dog and The Game, I think all bay area rappers are gay and so are the southern cali ones two. They are more of rap killers. Nas Had every right to say Hip-Hop is dead because it's true, everything rappers are making nowadays are stupid. But If I really had to choose between Northern and Southern Californian rappers I'd have to go with northern because we have people like Too $hort, The Pack, E-40, Keak Da Sneak, just others overall.

Naw the new Southern beats that are coming out are more slick and bangin' so that they carry the song and the rappers don't have to be as good. Thats why they are like pop song, hip pop. NY is more raw, raw beats and real lyricists. An average NY lyricist would be one of the best Southern rappers. Their are exceptions, however, like Outkast, Three 6 mafia, geto boys and scarface...etc. These guys are good, but they are a small minority.

Norther rappers are a little better, but give some respect to the South. Franchize boys, D4l, Young Joc...LOL just playing!

Cunningulist, Clipse, Scarface, Z-ro, Sean P, Dungeoun family, Phonte are all from the south. They have their talent.

I like northern rappers. Most of my favorites are from there. The South is cool too though.

Northern rappers have better lyrics. They're more laid back and chill...Southern rappers are better performers. Their songs are more "crunk" and you can dance to them better. I also think southern rappers usually look better.
