Believe it or not, but Alan Parsons made techno stuff sound worthwhile with his "A Valid Path" album.....or maybe it's due to picking collaborators with whom he could mesh well. My favorite song on the album is "We Play The Game," done with The Crystal Method.
Techno is something I thought I'd never like nor even tolerate, but when the right people get involved.....

check out micheal jacksons old but not real old songs they have a fun upbeat techno feel, and they are real catchy
