All men CAN stay faithful...some just choose not to do so. Saying they "can't" implies it is beyond their control, and that's not the case.
Cheaters are selfish people who put their own desires above everything else...monogamy isn't natural to humans but at least some people who choose not to be monogamous are honest about it. Cheaters aren't...

Some people and their personalities balance well together while some just don't. All people look at and feel things differently. Some have good morals and some have bad while others have a personal problem with sex addictions or putting themselves in places of temptation and getting caught up with friends that entice it and make it seem normal. To be faithfull or unfaithfull is always a choice. you could be the best wife and sex partner to a man but he will throw it all away for variety and the challenge and the excitement it gives him. Yet some men can be totally committed to one woman and be content in his life. Every man is different some know what matters at a young age and others never find themselves. I have known men to cheat in first marriages and do not cheat in their second ones. People are ever changing in every stage of their lives. What suited men to cheat in their first half of life may not suit them in the second half. The reasons are so complex as to why some men stay faithful and why some men choose to cheat. We all go into relationships hoping for a fairy tale ending but many things can happen to couples over the years to change the story line.

Lisa I'm not trying to sound like a smart alack or anything but if you ever found out the answer to this age old question and could bottle it up to make everyone loyal, Jesus girl you'd be a millionaire. Some guys and girls also I must add, just do not take their relationships as serious as they should. Especially if they are married and have taken vows to stay faithful and then go out with whoever will go out with them. Sad but it happens and a lot too I must add. But reality is that it is not a gender specific trait and both sexes are equally at fault for their infidelities.

Because some men value their partners feeling more than they value their own. Because some men are honest and enjoy being in stable, healthy relationships.

I think the ones that stay faithful just haven't met anyone that fits their fancy AND the feeling being mutual.

Maybe it depends on their woman. I like to think if a guy finds that perfect lady for him, he wouldn't do anything to mess that up. Just a thought though.

Men are wired to be attracted to women. That is plural.
Women are wired to hold down one man. That singular.
Most of us give in to the woman because we dont want to loose or hurt the one we love. Not because we are not attracted to other women.
Women generally win this battle.
