In FMX do they use offroad or motocross bikes?

Its a heavily customized 2 stroke. I guess you would say its a motocross bike but off road guys ride two strokes too.

They use motocross, 2 stroke bikes.
The FMX riders, like Brian Deegan, his FMX bike has $45,000.00 of parts in it, as it said on the X games tonight.
Alot of it has to do with Suspention (dropping 40 feet, going 50mph, you need it) Plus alot of the best of the best parts, since they all got the money. I;m sure with $3000 in parts, you can get a good FMX bike.
Me personaly, I am starting my 'fmx career' I am seriusly thinking about it.
