no, it didnt' really change the way I look at fast food because I have always been careful about it, but it did change the way I look at obese people, just how lack of descipline and ignorant one has to be to be that fat. They are so fat that they are hurting themselves, which means it is no worse than consuming illegal substance.
And yes, it's not fast food industry's fault, it's our fault that we are obsessed and addicted to anything. (including alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, and other things) no matter how addictive they are, as long as you have options, it's your duty/right to make a right decision.

And yes, parents have to take care of their kids, not McDonald's or government or school

And yes, healthy food is usually cheaper than fattening food.
One can easily grab vegetables (15 cents a unit in International Districts) and other healthier food and either stir fry it, boil it, or whatever. But the cheapest burger I know of is 39 cents and they are as unfulfilling as the amount of vegetables I can get for 15 cents

I know we all have someone to blame, but ultimately we have to be responsible for our own bodies.

Not as much as Fast Food Nation. Super Size Me was an extreme way of going about sending the message that fast food isn't good for you. If you want to know why it's a bad idea to support the corporations who don't care about obesity in America, read FFN. And you'll also walk away from it educated about the industry and its practices. I still eat fast food every once in a while, but I've definitely cut down after reading that book.

I am slim and slender, and very active. I've seen that movie twice, once over the summer 2 years ago and.. yesterday I think it was? I'm imagining you did too and that's what arose your question. Today I went to Burger King (for the first time in weeks) and had a #2 meal. I walked back to school as full as a whopper is of calories and fat. Then I ran when the bell rang and I was a block away. Lol. Plus it's the people who eat troughs of it each week that need to worry about McY's BK's and Sonic...

I did not eat fast food before - only fries at McDonalds maybe once a year... and Super Size Me did nothing to change my habits.
I do eat salads at fast food places, however, as a last resort when I have no other options. But I watch the salad dressings and other "extras."

It didn't change my views. I knew before I saw it that fast food isn't healthy. I still eat it on occation, like I've always done. I feel like I can't blame the fast food chains if my health goes south because I don't eat healthy. There comes a point where you have to take some responsibility for your life. It's not like McDonald's is forcing the food down your throat & telling you not to exercise.

It was an interesting movie, but it didn't change the way I think about fast food 'cause I've known for as long as I can remember that it's not healthy. I rarely go to one, and when I do, I much prefer one like Subway or Arby's, that doesn't load everything with grease.

The first time i watched it was in my seventh grade science class. It didnt bother me... all i knew was that it tastes good.. therefore i'm going to keep on eating it. But recently, i've seen a clip from the movie... the part where he puts all those burgers and fries in different jars and leaves them there for weeks on end to watch how they mold. Ugh ! That did it for me. I'll still get a milkshake or a sundae every now and then... but no more burgers, especially fries, for me thank you very much !
