What could liberals do worse?

I know you cons are always complaining about liberals, so I was wondering what you thought we could do worse? In the last six years, we have been:

1: bogged down in someone's civil war
2. stretched our military so thin that we have to extend tours of duty
3. Ignored the will of the American people
4. Spied on innocent Americans illegaly without consent
5. destroyed every alliance we have

Adam...ha..Brritian has 6,000 troops there, we have 160,000...Australia is even worse..maybe Bush should have seen how many miliraty we had before he decided to invade country that had no connection to 9-11

Most of the people who oppose liberals on general principles think all those things you mentioned are good -- so you're not going to convince them using that argument.

1 Civil war - good, our contributor's companies make more $ and give us our well deserved cut.

2 This way the poor people will not need welfare, because our military gets them killed off in foreign wars. No con would even think of joining the military, we make more $ owning our own businesses.

3 Screw the masses, they shouldn't be allowed to vote anyways.

4 This creates another industry for our friends, the anti-surveillance industry. All the cons will pay monthly as part of a bigger home security package. Only the poor will be spied upon.

5 We don't need alliances, we're the freakin' Americans, GOD has us as the only superpower. To hell with France!


Or on the other hand, we could just go back to being a democracy.

Jeremy given that growth is lower and unemployment and poverty higher than under Clinton and what we do have is based on money borrowed from our children - saying our economy is booming is a bit rich.
You all warned us at the start of the Clinton era that we were on the verge of an economic disaster. Instead we got the longest economic expansion in the history of the country.

well theres a few issues here

first ill take number 2, the sole reason our millitary is streached so thin is because slick willy swept through with brack and cut more millitary funding than any president in the history of the us.

3. you will find that many times the will of teh american people is wrong

4. clinton FDR and JFK all did the same if not simular things

5. so britan hasnt been working with us along with australia?

britan has also returned most of "its" territories back to the iraqi government, looks like they did a job well done, even if they did get the easier mission

You're right on the money with your observations about the Cheney/Bush record. The thing about your question is this......the "Liberals" are not going to get elected to the White House. A Populist Democrat will get elected, and will begin to restore America's standing among the community of nations.
