It seems to me that the Republican candidates should start dis-associating themselves publicly from the paranoid radio hosts and filth spewers that used to pass as "the moral majority".
I have a feeling that a close association with someone like Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh could really hurt someone in the '08 election.

Will you hesitate before giving a thumbs up to someone on here who agrees with you for all the wrong reasons?

Doc L - just watch the video if you need an example...
When someone says that they hope a presidential candidate is killed by terrorists and the entire auditorium of young republicans stands up and applauds... there is a serious problem.
These kids parents would not approve just because they are republican... their parents would be ashamed as anyone's would.

Anyone who was alive during Bobby Kennedy's asassination would tell you what's wrong with letting your kids listen to Ann Coulter.

Point well taken, but it would be equally as ignorant to vote for a Liberal, or Democrat (I'm Canadian, give me a break) because you're angry with Bush. And I'm predominantly in agreement with those people who feel the US government has betrayed it's people. But the world is depending on you guys so, for the love of Pete, when you go into the polling booth, forget about Bush, the war in Iraq and all the other crap going on and vote for the best PERSON who can lead the country. If it's Hillary or Obama, great - if it's Fred Thompson or Giuliani, that's great, too.
But making a decision based on anger and hate is as "ignorant" as voting for anyone, Democrat or Republican. The worst mistake any electorate can make is go in the exact opposite direction because they're mad as hell at the previous administration. It doesn't solve the problem, it only makes things worse. What midterm elections should prove to everyone that whether you're conservative or liberal, you can be great or you can be total crap. Vote for the PERSON who can best represent you. Partisanship at such a critical time in US history is a huge mistake.

I have a feeling that its worse for Democrats to associate with things like the daily kosand moveon.org. with all the hate that they put out. Michael Moore and George Soros are far bigger kooks than Coulter or Limbaugh and the Dems have no problem with these idiots. Coulter can be bad but Limbaugh just exposes the left for who they really are and that is why people like you dont like him. Why dont the left try to get elected on what they will do to better this country instead of just bad mouthing Bush as if having a so called bad leader makes the opposition a good leader. I can do it better is not sound policy. The Dems are worried about important stuff like getting rid of Alberto Gonzales boy if that isnt top priority. The Democratic majority has done nothing but stir up controversy since the elections in 06. That is why their approval rating is far lower than the presidents. I dont think the right are the ones being fooled. Try doing a little fact finding instead of buying into leftist propaganda.

I doubt that any candidate will have a close association with the two you mentioned. I don't listen to talk radio and I wonder what you mean by "filth spewers". Could you please give an example of what you call filth?
Edited to add: I have seen many liberals imply or suggest some harm come to President Bush, even one that seem to suggest that he be attacked by terrorists right here on politics. Would you agree that this is "filth" as well?

I let what the candidate runs on sway me. If a candidate I like showed up on a liberal show, I could give a sh*t. Hannity doesn't decide for me. Rush doesn't decide for me. The general public and fellow Republicans don't decide for me....I DO.
Ignorant by definition is:
1. lacking in knowledge or training; unlearned: an ignorant man.
2. lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact: ignorant of quantum physics.
3. uninformed; unaware.
4. due to or showing lack of knowledge or training: an ignorant statement.
Rush and Ann are very intelligent and know what they are talking about. The only reason liberals and Democrats hate them is because they say it how it is without catering to the poor little feelings of the ones they are speaking of. I'm sorry, I was brought up in a place of equality and honesty. Sorry if they both offend others.

Could should be replaced with "will." It's all a matter of what degree and how big of an affect these 2, as well as others, have on the misinformed pubs. Hopefully many won't be so blinded by the light and realize they can make rational decisions based on good reasoning and educated opinions of the Pub's of '08.

Here is a more important question
Yahoo Democrats and Liberals - Are you going to let Pelosi, Reid, Clinton, Edwards, Obama drag you down in 08?
"Will you hesitate before giving a thumbs up to someone on here who agrees with you for all the wrong reasons?"

Both parties should disassociate themselves from the extremists!
Several of the Democratic candidates are going to a convention held by "The Daily Kos," a website which is at least just as far left as Rush is far right!
And I frequently give thumbs down to conservatives who give us a black eye!

it is not unavoidably hypocritical, no. yet the place did you learn that trailer park dwellers have extreme expenses of welfare dependency? i've got constantly theory trailer parks have been bastions for low- and average-earnings people who wanted independence, room for a family contributors, and a able it is affordable, risk-free, and with a feeling of community, yet the place you do no longer could proportion partitions with others and would grill outdoors, have a backyard, etc. so some distance as i be conscious of, trailers and trailer parks are no longer coated in section 8 and different welfare housing courses. i'd wager maximum welfare recipients stay in public housing or section 8, no longer trailer parks.

Absolutely not!
I won't allow the Democrats deceive me with their sugar coated talk as so many do, at the end of it is a trap of despair.
I want God fearing, decency in the White House such as has been the case for the past seven years!
I thank God for George W. Bush, a man of true honor and dignity to the country!!
God bless!!
