Yes, I critizie my country's governmental choices that they make.
My ideas are being heard. I know this because I just wrote the United States Senator John Cornyn and my state Senator. I also got a personal response from both of them with in a matter of two weeks.
I highly encourage EVERYONE to make their voices heard and heard STRONG. Say what you like. It's a free country!!!!!

When they do something I disagree with I absolutely criticize the action. I do believe that I have some ideas that would benefit our society, but I also know that your average politician couldn't care less what I think. They prove this is true to me almost on a daily basis. A society that is unwilling to criticize the mistakes of their leaders is not really a free society.
Daisy: Are you from Texas? I have written Cornyn and Hutchison both on numerous occassions. I always get a response which I know is written by a staffer. However, I do see the positive effect sometimes. Most recently regarding the immigration bill.

Yes, it is not only our right as Americans, but our responsibility. The press was given the rights it has today to inform us on what is going on with our government (believe it or not, they are not supposed to poison us with there opinion). Based on the info we get from the unbiased press(LOL) we are then supposed to question anything we don't agree with. The only time we should not question our government is to the foreign press, or while we are in a foreign country (ie Jane Fonda, Bill Clinton). Other that that, let it fly! I do believe if we speak loud enough and often enough, it can make a difference, unfortunately all positive change takes time.

Yes constantly but I also acknowledge when they do something good like when Howard changed the gun laws.
The best way to make your ideas work is vote and that's why I cant see Howard lasting another term he forgot the golden rule don't get pushed into doing something the people that elected you don't agree with.

Frequently.
As someone who has sworn an oath to support and defend the Constitution, I do everything I can to stop constitutional violations -- that includes bringing the constitutional violations of elected officials to the attention of others.
In the US, it is the right and obligation of every citizen to stand up for the country, and to keep our own govt in check.

All the time and I think some of my ideas are great. It's just a matter of getting my ideas implemented, which can be a difficult and tedious process, i.e. getting it on the ballot.
