The absolute value is just the number without a "-" sign next to it. So the absolute value of -25 is 25. If it were just 25 and not negative, then that would be the answer already.

For fractions of fractions, you have to multiply them together. 5/6 x 1/4 is 5/24. If you want to show your work, you just need to write out the equation. 5/24 can't be simplified anymore because 5 doesn't go into 24. I hope that helps. ^_^

Absolute value makes numbers positive (except for zero) . So it's 25.

The other, to find 1/4 of 5/6 yd, multiply 1/4 X 5/6 which is 5/24 (multiply fractions by multiplying the tops and the bottoms)

WELL WITH ABSOLUTE VALUE IT MEANS THE DISTANCE FROM ZERO AND SINCE DISTANCE CANT BE NEGATIVE THE ABSOLUTE VALUE OF -25 IS 25.

WELL FOR THE SECOND YOU SHOULD CHANGE THNUMBER 5/6 YARDSTO INCHES. . IF HE USED 1/4 OF 5/6 YOU MULTIPLY THOSE TWO TOGETHER AND YOU GET (A) 5/24 YARDS

Absolute Value is how far whatever number is from 0.
So the absolute value of -25 is 25, because the number is 25 spaces away from 0.

The absolute value of -25 would simply be a positive 25. What absolute value means is pretty much positive. If it was the absolute value of positive 25, you would just leave it the same.

Hope this helps!

The roots (or extremely the comparable numbers with opposite sign) could desire to upload to the middle coefficient of the quadratic. the middle coefficient is seven, 2 numbers that upload to seven and fluctuate by using one are 3 and four. in view that 3+4 = 7 and four - 3 =a million q would be those comparable numbers expanded together. 3*4=12 So q = 12.

absolute value is how far any number is away from 0. For fraction equations, always find a common denominator (bottom number). (the answers are 25and 7/12 [none of the choices are right]) Good luck!
