I'm looking for some "safe" and nice apartments around the Champions/1960 or Tomball/Cypress area. I've looked at all the websites, including apartmentratings.com, and I'm trying to find really honest opinions from people who've lived in these places. Any suggestions?

I live in the Cypress area. It is fairly safe. (I hate to say it IS SAFE. As soon as I say that, I will find my car stolen out of the driveway.) Tomball is far enough out, it should be safe too. I travel in the 1960 and Champions area all the time. I do not have any concerns while in that area.
But the answer above mine is also correct. Visit the neighborhood in the daytime and again at night. See if you feel safe.
Any of those areas are good areas. I know that does not help. You would like for me to pick one. I live in the
Cypress area and have customers in all of the areas. You will enjoy any area you pick.

i live near the intersection of 249 and spring cypress, it's a very nice area, a lot of nice subdivisions, mostly middle to upper class area, there is a new apartment complex on spring cypress and huffsmith-khorville, looks pretty nice, don't know the name or rates, most appartments in this area are probably geared toward middle to upper class residents-like the communities, i highly recommend the area, especially if you have a family, good luck, my friend lives at legacy pines just off of 249 and louetta, she says it's really nice.

We don't know how much you plan to spend. It will make all the difference. Check out your neighbors before you move in anywhere. Walk around during the day and at night first. Take a little time, first.
