Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6

God not only rejuires it but also empowers us to speak with grace about all people. As we do so, God replaces our hatred with love.
Peace ~!~ Love

...I've sure experienced this in my own life...I recently re-listened to a recording the family made back in Desert Storm era....the original had been sent to my step-son who was in that war overseas at the time...although there was nothing earth shattering on it, mostly family news....I notice that I sounded "raw" in my language and speech...I guess I've come a long way from that person and I didn't do it alone...God surely helped me, little by little, to have a better way of speaking and writing...it's like night and day, really

I'm catholic and I'm familiar with the colossian but why are you tryin to tell these people to follow the path of God when God wants you to choose to be with him with out force. Plus there is more than one religion out there not everyone believes what you or I believe. Just leave them alone. what you say is not goin to make a difference to them or anyone who does not believe in God.
I'm sorry but it's the truth.

I like that verse. It is something to live by. If I don't like someone don't talk bad about him/her. If you do, do it than it will happen to you.

True; it adds to the circle of pain.;but people mistakenly believe that this will lessen their pain, it just continues the pain.
