I had the same thing when I was pregnant with my son. The doctor told me the baby was laying on a nerve causing my hand to tingle. It did it worse at night!! I had it in both of my hands and had to wear a brace on each at night while sleeping. But as soon as I had him it went away. Hope this helps!!! But no it has no effect on the baby.

No it won't hurt the baby. The baby can't feel anything that is going on with your hand. All the baby knows is whats going on with him or her in the womb. The only time anything would hurt the baby is if it was indirect contact with your abdomen. Its still hard to hurt the baby then because he or she is very well protected. More protected then you or I. Don't worry, your baby has no idea that you are hurting in your hand.

No, it isn't hurting the baby. You can do stretching exercises on your arms and hands to help with the tingling.

the tingling and numbness you might feel in your hands or fingers is common in pregnancy, the baby will be fine :) if any doubts always ask your dr, sometimes hearing it from them makes you feel more reasssured
