I'd think I prefer Christmas - although the last one wasn't that great as my dad was really ill.
Happy Birthday to you!!! Hope you have a great day :)

Happy Birthday.
I prefer Christmas. I really like the decorations, choosing what presents to give to people, staying with my family and other relatives, the Christmas dinner and opening the presents.
My Birthday is ok but I don't look forward to being another year older. I just go out with my friends and do something fun and then a meal. It's nice but I prefer Christmas.

I totally prefer Christmas since is a good time for family reunion and is more focused on kids. Although I don't have any of my self, I love it when I can see the happy faces of my two lovely little nieces feeling the whole emotion that christmas brings. I also love decorating the Xmas tree and preparing nice food and drinks the entired December...family and friends mingling together. The only stinky part es when January arrives..what the heck..right?

Happy Birthday !!
I prefer my birthday as well as it is my day. Secondly I work in a ski resort and have to work at Christmas, worse thing is here in the states (I am a Brit) you do not even get holiday pay or a day in lieu.
I do have two friends whose birthday is on Christmas. Believe it or not, one is named Carol and one Nick. Both obviously had parents with a sense of humour.

Christmas. The warmth of the family home, coloured lights, cards, children opening gifts, Grandma asleep in the chair. Brother confidently showing the whole family how to work wonders on the PC. While me and my sister in law, both considerably more knowledgeable in the whole field, just look at each other and silently shake our heads. It's a race to who's going to fix the PC when he's gone home. The wonderful wonderful dinner. The whole family, doubled in size after three plates full of a perfect meal, all waddling towards the nearest chairs which are then subjected to loads far exceeding anything the designer could have even imagined. Having to call out the fire brigade to rescue the very overweight, computer destroying, younger brother after the chair gives way under his rather large frame and he drops straight through onto the floor. Looking and smiling at little sis, who only wants to argue with me these days; so I look and I smile. Seeing the pile of presents that each of us have. Older brother saying they won't allow this lot on the plane, younger brother thinking: I wonder how much I'll get for this lot, sister arguing with somebody. Me looking at my pile of gifts and thinking: where the hell am I going to put that lot?
Happy days.
I must point out, there is absolutely no animosity at all, we're not a close family, but we certainly 'get on'.

hem hard question love my birthday as I'm born on August the 20 the same day as my grandpa and not just because of it being my birthday but because I love summer. Winter makes me feel depressed as I suffer with (SAD) Seasonal attention disorder which means I feel sleepy all the time.but I like Christmas day with the family.

Tough. I like Christmas because of this special atmosphere, and I like my birthday beacause of it's more personal, as you said. So I'd say equally.
And by the way, happy birthday! You have a star from me.
