I had a home pc that was giving me some problems. I took it to my office and the tech hooked it up to the network we have (Novell) to diagnose the problem and download files for me. He told me he fixed it and I brought it home but the log-in screen wants me to enter a password based upon his employee log-in at work. I dont have his log-in info! How can I get around the log-into network with a password - when the computer is not connected to a network. Is there a way to do this in dos? Can I uninstall Novell through setup? I cant get past the gatekeeper!!!!!

You will need to get him to type or tell you his log in and then you can reset the log in.

He must be stupid to leave a netware setup on a machine with no chance of reaching the server. Get him to turn it off, then get someone who knows what they are doing to uninstall all the netware protocols, as they will slow the machine down while it tries to determine how to make connections each time.
