i'm surprised your doctor didn't check your cervix. my doctor checks me every visit after 36 weeks. the sharp pains in your pelvic bones could just be the pressure of the baby's head. it's not comfortable! your baby should still be moving though. eat something, lay down, and pay attention to your baby... if you don't feel 4 movements in a hour you need to go to the doctor to have your baby monitored. hopefully your doctor's right, and it's all normal.

I'm no expert, but I do know that the baby's movement typically decreases at the very end of pregnancy because there is so little space left for moving. The baby pretty much fills the whole space. In addition, you could have difficulty breathing if the baby is pressing on your diaphram- this would make it feel like you can take only shallow breaths but not a beep breath. I can't help you with the other sensations. Consider how you've felt about your doctor's care up to this point. If you trust her judgement, relax. If you don't, get another opinion tomorrow.

With my first I thought I had the flu... but really it was early labor... either way you don't want to go rushing to the hospital because you will be there for hours on end... and perhaps sent home for a while... if I were you I would keep active and stay home until you are in pain... then call the doctor. Don't worry the baby isn't going to just drop out... lesser women than you do this every day... relax and let it happen.

the baby doesnt have much room in there to move anymore so low fetal movement is normal. it should still be moving some just not as much. i would keep checking with the doctor and keep reporting to him/her. lay down for awhole and see if the baby moves if not i would make a call to the nurse on duty and she can ell you if you shoud head into the ER. the pains in your croch is normal though. with my last one i felt like her head was right in between my legs i could barley walk it hurt so bad.
