The song was Yellow by Coldplay. It was my husband's favourite song and we played it at his funeral. I can't hear it without crying :)

Believe it or not, I am a guy who is emotional, and the last time I heard " You are the Wind beneath my wings", I kinda had a little pity party, because my wife is always at the church, for something or other. Sorry to rain on your parade, but it feels good to just let it out sometimes.

Oh, i do that often. Music is a part of my soul and speaks volumes to me, often with no words. The last song i can recall doing that to was a song called "Gates of Dawn" by Secret Garden. It spoke directly to my heart and the situation i was going through at the time.

Not too long ago, when my baby girl asked me to walk her down the aisle. Of course, I was driving, tears rolling down my face, and fumbling to find my copy of Guns & Roses,,,Sweet Child of Mine. This is our song.
