It will be Vehicular homicide. The mother will have a long sentence cause of her being intoxicated. If she is pulled over and intoxicated and has the kids with her. The kids will be taken away and she will have reckless endangerment on her and all charges on her depends on the state she live in and how the judge/jury feels she should do time.

Aside from DUI -- probably also reckless endangerment and/or negligent homicide.
The specific crimes vary by the state, and what teh prosecutor thinks can be proven given the evidence available.
The sentences are entirely dependent on what the person is convicted of, and can cover the spectrum from fines and probation to years in prison -- until the charges are set and the trial evidence is presented, there's no way to do more than make a SWAG guess.

Child endanger ment,is onecharge and the other charge would be manslaughter of a minor with use of a deadly weapon. when a person gets into a vehicle intoxicated that person and the vehicle become the weapon. The minium sentence depends on the state. but those are the charges. hope that helps.

DUI at minimum. Vehicular homicide is likely. Depending on the details, felony murder is possible. The minimum sentence depends on both the state and the actual charge.
