No, take him to a dermatologist, instead, and make sure he doesn't have a fungal infection.
If you absolutely must paint them, for goodness' sake don't use the polish on yourself afterwards. Nail fungus is pretty easy to catch, and while it can be hidden with shoes when it's on the feet, it isn't quite that easy to hide when it's on your hands.

Ha ha. Seriously though he could have a nail fungus,you can get a remedy at the chemist that will help clear it up and tell him to soak his feet in vinegar, it's an antibacterial.

ummmm no... he may have a vitamin deficiency or maybe a fungus or something, or even smoking can cause yellow nails. I'd make him wear shoes and socks... to cover them up. yuck. Maybe see a podiatrist

31 years ago, my then boyfriend had yellow toenails, two years ago he started putting lamisil creme on them every day, its gone. they look healthy.
