You want an honest opinion? I have been around baseball at many levels for most of my 55 years, and of any sport out there, baseball is the most unpredictable of any of them.

I am not a gambler, but if I were, I would bet almost any other sporting event before I bet baseball DESPITE THE FACT THAT I KNOW MANY OF THE CURRENT AND FORMER PLAYERS, KNOW A LOT ABOUT THE GAME, AND MANY PEOPLE LOOK TO ME FOR ADVICE ON HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME....I still make a healthy chunk of change from the game, yet WOULD NEVER, EVER BET too much on any single game.

A great example of why I feel the way I do happened today: What kind of odds do you think you could get betting that both the Yankees and White Sox would each score 8 runs in the same inning? How many $ would you have bet that after the way the Yanks manhandled the Sox the last couple of days that they would not even win the game - especially with Clemens on the hill?

Do you see what I mean? THERE ARE SIMPLY TOO MANY VARIABLES IN THE GAME OF BASEBALL FOR A SINGLE GAME TO BE A GOOD BET BECAUSE ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. Even a series is a risky proposition, to be honest....

If the money is important to you, there are lots of safer things to do with it than bet a Yankees - or any other team's games! Especially when playing a team like the Royals.... Ask the Red Sox!

the Royals are known for trailing and coming back sometimes but not against the Yankees. they lost to the white sox because Clemens sucked today, no offense. Bet the money, you have about a 80% Chance of winning.

Look at Wang post All-Star and look deeper into the Royals record. They has played above .500 ball for a little while now!

Depends on how much that $150 means to you. If you lose it on the Yankees, will that affect anything in your life?

If you live paycheque to paycheque, it may not be a good idea.

But if you can, you may as well bet while the Yankees have the easy schedule, because it's uphill from there

Yes.

The Yankees have thier ace going out for them tommorow.

And thier playing the ROYALS.

Besides Perez is on the mound tommorow and he is 6-9 with a 5.73 E.R.A.

Come on, how can you go wrong?

wager 50 on the game and another 50 on when Bonds hits the record breaking Homer, and save the other 50 in case you are wrong both times LOL

Rather than gamble, why don't you use the money to surprise your mother with a present.

I would bet on the NFL, the NBA, dog racing, and on which beetle will cross the floor first. On ONE game of baseball? Not on your life.
