im pretty sure its the laser lens, like it was with my ps2. i fixed that with the cd wit bristles. i would use it on my gamecube but its not the size of a gamecube disc. any suggestions?

yeah, this happens wit all my discs, and my friends, plus i put them in the case when im done. also, sometimes it works, sometimes it dont. right now im playin a game, and sometimes it resets the game if i spin it.

its happened with me i took it to a game trader and he told me it had to do with the laser lens and it couldnt be fixed and i would have to buy a new one

It happen to me once. Try putting another disc in. If the gamecube reads it, then you know it's the disc, not the lens. You may have a faulty disc. :)

the same thing happened to me! i went into like 10 game stores and asked like lots of people and they said that they have never heard of that, I even called nintendo and they said that theyve never heard of that before. so i just got a new one because i didnt want to hear that crap anymore. good luck on that!

The laser is probably out of alignment you should get it checked

check the disc , is it dirty? scuffed up scratched. is it the right disc for the right gaming system. or it just can't read the disc.
